Fathers Day

Started off the day with a great breakfast at 9 then went to church at 11 the discussion was a good one a real eye opener for Micah and I. We then went to the water park in Temple, Rylee had a blast she loves slides and water. Did a little yard work had a great dinner. I felt very blessed and loved from my family.
Post about your fathers day?

  1. Blaine, you are blessed. You have a beautiful wife and a gorgeous little girl. I think you are a pretty good guy too. Isn't it funny how some messages just hit close to home. God knows when the right time and when your ready to listen. Marshall came to Christ the day Kade was born and it has been the biggest blessing. They say everything happens for a reason and even though going through what we did with Kade was a nightmare, it brought about amazing things in my husband. I know you are a tough guy in the gym and yell at us all but I also know you do it because you want the best from us. I also see how you are with Rylee and Micah. It is nice to see that soft side. I always pick on you but I am glad you are my trainer. Hope you had a great Father's Day. It sounds like you did. See you when I can get back. Guess that didn't really fit the post because I am not a father but just felt the need.

  2. I had a great Fathers Day weekend...water skiing at Lake Belton with the kids...we moved into our Lakehouse...Sunday started off with a good cup of coffee watching the sunrise over Lake Belton, later, we went to the Youth Mass at St. Luke's...then dinner with the family...grilled steaks out by the pool along with some grilled veggies...kids gave me a wakeboard...50 years old and still waterskiing!

  3. I'd like to think that Corey had a good one, too. He got to watch a movie on pay per view with a quite house while I took the kids to Cabela's in Buda to buy him the chair that he'd been asking for forever and we should have bought him a long time ago. Got home and watched the Rangers win in extra innings. Bought him a steak and then let him cook it for himself just the way he likes it... I'm very lucky to have him in my children's lives - he is a great father. Called my dad, too, to wish him a happy father's day and tell him I appreciated him. He always has a way of turning that around on me and making it not about him... one of the ways that he is amazing.
Glad yours was a good one, Blaine - you deserve it...
